Empowering Entrepreneurs, Transforming Communities

At The World We Want, we envision a world where every individual, regardless of wealth, background, or gender, can thrive and contribute within a sustainable and equitable global paradigm. We aim to empower people to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges, fostering inclusive economic growth, environmental vitality, and social equity.

Challenges in the Global South

Marginalized communities in the Global South face significant challenges such as limited access to clean water, education, and healthcare. These disparities are compounded by socio-economic gaps and climate change impacts, hindering innovation and progress. For example, over 9% of the population in the Global South lives on less than $1.90 a day.

Additionally, the majority of the world’s young people face barriers to meaningful employment in these regions. The next decade will see 1 billion young people enter the job market, particularly in low and lower-middle-income countries, with only 40% projected to find formal employment. Challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and gender discrimination present significant barriers to youth employment, perpetuating issues inherited from past generations.

Storytelling to drive Impact Investment for Global South Innovators

We believe that impactful storytelling amplifies the innovative potential of social enterprises, driving crucial impact investments that catalyze sustainable solutions worldwide. In the heart of the WWW ecosystem, we’re pioneering a digital global impact platform dedicated to empowering social entrepreneurs in the Global South through the power of storytelling.

Our mission harnesses a powerful trifecta approach: leveraging storytelling to spotlight challenges, fostering behavioral transformation to inspire community action, and catalyzing growth through targeted impact investments.

This initiative aims to elevate the ingenious solutions of local changemakers, providing them with the essential tools, networks, and financial support to scale their innovations and drive substantial, sustainable change aligned with the SDGs.

Innovating for Social Impact – the ‘Jugaad’ Approach

Social impact entrepreneurs are key players in addressing social and environmental issues innovatively. Embodying the ‘Jugaad’ ethos, they transform challenges into opportunities for creative solutions. Their adaptive innovation, frugality, and adaptability maximize limited resources for long-term impact. By supporting these innovators, we contribute to a symbiotic fusion of economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability.
