Gender equality is a pressing need of our times
The 20th anniversary of memorable Spice Girls track Wannabe was the perfect inflection point for powerful messaging around the issue of gender equality. Young and vibrant in tone of voice, the campaign sang out for positive change.
Purpose

We helped girl power break the internet for the Project Everyone’s disruptive film #WhatIReallyReallyWant. The film was shot in Mumbai, Cape Town and London, featuring artists from all over the world - such as Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez and Seyi Shay, the Rihanna of Nigeria. Celebrating 20 years of Girl Power, the film echoed with the voices of girls and women all over the world telling world leaders what goals they ‘really really want’ to be achieved to help improve their lives.

Impact

The video generated a spectacular 150 million views online in just a few days of its launch and was the third highest trending topic in the UK on Facebook in the first 24 hours after release. We managed the global communications campaign for #WhatIReallyReallyWant, including the media activity at the film’s preview at Cannes Lions, sourcing talent and playing a vital role during its development alongside Project Everyone. We launched the film globally, securing coverage for #WhatIReallyReallyWant and the Global Goals in mass media across Europe, the USA, India, the Far East, Australia and Africa - collecting a host of awards in the process.
